Amazon is delighted to have been named the winner of Retail Week’s Consumer Choice Award in 2023.

The award winner is decided by customers who vote for their favourite UK retailer – making this even more special to us - so we want to say a huge ‘thank you’ to everybody who voted for Amazon this year.

Customer obsession is one of four core principles that guide us in delivering on our mission, and is also the first of Amazon’s Leadership Principles, which define our inclusive, meritocratic working culture.

That means we always start with the customer and work backwards whenever we are innovating and building on their behalf. We work vigorously to earn and keep customer trust and are pleased to be recognised once again for our commitment to constantly improving our customers’ experience.

In the past year Amazon has won the ‘Charity Partnership – Telecoms & Technology’ category at the Business Charity Awards for our Amazon Future Engineer and Teach First partnership, which supports the recruitment and training of new computing teachers in schools serving some of the most disadvantaged communities in the country.

We are also excited to have Glamazon, our LGBTQIA+ employee network, shortlisted for The British LGBT Awards' Top Ten Employee Resource Groups, which will be announced in June.

We are thrilled to have won the Consumer Choice Award this year and will continue to build on this success by finding new ways to innovate on behalf of our customers.
