Last year, I enjoyed Prime Video’s delightful Your Christmas or Mine starring Asa Butterfield and Cora Kirk, which was a great combination of humour, romance and the Christmas spirit. I was excited to hear that a sequel was in the works and even more thrilled when I found out that Prime Video was hosting a screening of Your Christmas or Mine 2 at the Ham Yard Hotel in Soho. I immediately jumped at the chance to attend and watch the movie with fellow fans.

Just before the screening started, I joined everyone to enjoy a great selection of festive drinks like mulled wine, hot chocolate, and an array of canapes with something for everyone. I grabbed a cup of mulled wine and took a moment to appreciate the beautifully decorated room filled with eclectic neon signs and a dedicated space for fans to take pictures. The room was practically buzzing with anticipation as we waited to take our seats and watch the movie.
After finishing my second cup of mulled wine, I headed to the screening room and settled into one of the comfortable seats, ready to join James, Hayley, and their families for Christmas in the Austrian Alps. The seats were filled with treats for attendees, including pick-n-mix and small bags of popcorn. As more and more fans settled into their seats, we were treated to a live performance of Christmas songs sung acapella by the professional gospel choir, Get Gospel. They sang a medley of Christmas hits, such as All I Want for Christmas is You, Jingle Bells, Silent Night, and Santa Claus is Coming to Town, creating the perfect atmosphere to watch Your Christmas or Mine 2.
The screening began with welcoming remarks from Tushar Jindal, Head of Content at Prime Video, and Tara Erer, Head of Northern Europe Originals. To our surprise, Asa Butterfield and Cora Kirk, the stars of Your Christmas or Mine 2, joined them on stage for a brief Q&A session. The audience gave them a warm welcome, and they spoke about their experience filming the movie. Asa mentioned that his favourite part of filming the movie was the little family he had made with the cast and crew, and how the bond with them had grown since the first movie. Cora expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to make a second movie as she had no idea how much people enjoyed the first movie.
It was clear how much being a part of Your Christmas or Mine means to them and when Asa mentioned he’d love to make a third movie, the audience gave a loud cheer! As Asa and Cora interacted on stage and with the audience, one thing that stood out to me was their camaraderie, and I got excited to see how their chemistry would once again translate to the big screen! And just like that, it was time for them to leave - they thanked the audience, waved goodbye and left the stage.
Your Christmas or Mine 2, follows James and Hayley as they head to the Austrian Alps to celebrate their second Christmas as a couple. When James’s dad invites the Taylors to a luxury ski holiday for Christmas, and a mix-up with transportation happens at the airport, the two families end up at each other's accommodations by mistake – on opposite sides of a valley with very different TripAdvisor ratings. One is a five-star hotel, and the other is a ramshackle barn with an onery host.

With breath-taking scenery of the Austrian Alps, humorous scenes with an angry goat, lessons in what not to do when skiing as a novice and a romantic surprise at the end, Your Christmas or Mine 2 is sure to be another favourite to watch with the family or friends this Christmas.
Get ready to watch Your Christmas or Mine 2 on 8 December on Prime Video.
