In the UK, Prime members have access to the top Tuesday match of the UEFA Champions League within their subscription for no additional cost.

In addition, football fans can access a wide selection of live sports via add-on subscriptions and pay-per-view events on Prime Video. This includes additional UEFA Champions League and Premier League matches through a discovery+ subscription, NFL through an NFL Game Pass subscription, and Ligue 1 French Football and UEFA Men’s National Team football matches for just £2.49 per match via pay-per-view.

You’ll find all UEFA Champions League on Prime matches, or other sports events on Prime Video, underneath the ‘Sports’ tab at the top of the homepage. Once on the sports home page, you’ll see a carousel of “Your live and upcoming events,” which contains matches included with your Prime membership, add-on subscriptions, or ones which you have paid for.

Alternatively, you can search for the match or championship you want to watch using the search function.

Football fans can also enjoy an updated watch experience for the UEFA Champions League matches. Using the new “Rapid Recap” feature, fans who join the coverage after kick-off can watch a highlights reel of the action missed. The new “Key Moments” navigation bar will also allow them to jump between the most important moments of the game including cards, penalties, VAR decisions, and goals.

Do I have to be a Prime member to watch live football?

It depends on which match you’re trying to watch. Live coverage of the UEFA Champions League top Tuesday match is included in your Prime membership, while other games are available with add-on subscriptions or via a one-off pay-per-view cost. Live sports within add-on subscriptions or pay-per-view do not require a Prime membership.
