Something strange in your neighbourhood?

Camera-enabled smart devices like Ring Video Doorbells and Security Cameras have become commonplace across the globe, so it’s perhaps unsurprising that so many mysterious moments have been caught on video.

Dave Ward, Managing Director EU & International at Ring said: We love when our customers share videos of important moments captured on their Ring devices – from every day events to the paranormal. People use our devices for a wide variety of reasons, including ghostbusting, and with the help of Yvette we’re looking forward to discovering if anyone shares their home with more than just their loved ones!

Recently, a Ring customer from Los Angeles, sent in footage of a white halo floating around her bedroom. Monica was alerted when she received a motion notification from her Ring Stick Up Cam.

I was left stunned when I went to check in on the footage. I tried to understand what it could be – it was too large to be a particle of dust, and the curtains were shut so there’s no chance of an outside source. Nothing made sense. Monica explained.

Surprisingly, the orb stayed in the house for close to a month, sometimes moving between rooms and was also captured on her camera in the dining room.

As someone who has been working in the ghost hunting industry for 24 years, it is great to have devices like Ring Security Cameras that are able to capture video footage like this, Yvette told us.

Who do I send spooky Ring footage to?

If you’ve caught a seemingly unexplainable event on your Ring device then why not send it in to Ring for analysis? Once received, Yvette Fielding will select which of your mysterious clips requires further investigation. The beloved Most Haunted star will then draw on her extensive knowledge of the supernatural to analyse whether your clips are evidence of a haunting.
