The next generation Blink Outdoor 4 has advanced features to provide greater functionality, all whilst maintaining the long up-to-two-year battery life that the security camera is known for.
Through a feature known as Person Detection (which does require a Blink subscription) customers will be able to specify the types of motion detection notifications that they receive. The next generation model also offers a wider field-of-view, enhanced motion detection performance, and improved low light sensitivity and clarity. You’ll also be able to use the next-gen model with Blink’s new sync module for cloud storage, the Blink Sync Module Core.
Of course, that’s all on top of what the Blink Outdoor 4 already has to offer which included advanced motion detection over dual zones, the capacity to connect up to ten cameras, and the ability to store any recorded motion clips on the cloud. Meanwhile the weather-resistant design means it can be installed just about anywhere, with Blink users able to control and customise their privacy settings. The Blink Outdoor 4 also works with Alexa, allowing you to connect an Echo device to the Blink app to receive motion alerts, check live views, and disarm systems.
The Blink Battery Extension Pack
Alongside the next generation Outdoor 4 camera Blink is also releasing the Battery Extension Pack, which can be attached to the camera to double the battery life. That means instead of up to two years you’ll get up to four years instead.

The Blink Outdoor 4 is available to buy now in the UK with prices starting at £69.99 for a one camera system including a Sync Module Core. If you want to buy the camera as a bundle with the Blink Battery Extension pack, you can do so for £89.99. The Battery Extension Pack can also be purchased separately for £24.99.
