Once again, we're proud to be donating hundreds of toys from this year's list to Multibanks across the UK, helping families make Christmas that little bit more special.”
How Amazon will support families this Christmas
Hundreds of toys from this year’s list will be donated to families in need in time for Christmas through The Multibank charity.
The Multibank distributes surplus goods to families in need through a nationwide network of charities and community organisations. Alongside everyday essentials such as toiletries, nappies and household items, toys are particularly important at this time of year, helping families create special moments for their children at Christmas. Through its work with Amazon and other partners, The Multibank has already distributed more than 23 million items to support over three million families in need across the UK.
This year’s toys will be delivered in a giant toy chest to all six Multibank sites in London, Greater Manchester, Birmingham, Tees Valley, Fife, and Swansea.
Bob Garmory OBE, Chief Executive Officer at The Multibank, said: “For families facing financial pressures, this time of year can be particularly challenging, with the rising cost of everyday life making it harder to create special moments for their children. That's why the continued support of Amazon is so important, helping us reach families who need it most.
"We're delighted to be able to distribute some of the year's most sought-after toys, bringing a little extra joy to families and helping more children experience the excitement and happiness that every child deserves.”
This is the fourth consecutive year that Amazon has made a special delivery of toys to The Multibank, as part of its year-round support as the principal partner of the charity.
