UK Gender Pay Gap and global workforce demographics
The UK Government requires all companies with 250 or more employees to publish details of their gender pay gap. The gender pay gap is the difference in the average pay and bonuses of all men and all women across an organisation. Our median gender pay gap for our total UK workforce, in 2024, is 0% (i.e. the median average hourly rate for men across Amazon in the UK is the same as the median average hourly rate for women), compared to a UK national average of 13.1% in favour of men.
