Spending your gift card
Once you’ve redeemed your gift card, the funds are stored in ‘Your Account’ and will automatically apply to your next eligible order. Visit our Gift Card Redemption Issues help page if you are having issues redeeming your gift card.
If your order total is more than your gift card balance, you’ll be charged the remaining amount to your default payment method. Conversely, if the order total is less than the gift card balance, the remaining funds will be saved for your next purchase.
If you’d rather save your gift card balance to spend on another occasion, simply uncheck the box next to ‘Use your £X.XX gift card balance’ at checkout.
The funds from your gift card will be valid for ten years from the date the card was issued. You can check your gift card balance at any time by visiting ‘Your Account’ and clicking on ‘Gift Cards & Top Up’.
You can also spend your Amazon gift card in our Angel, Chingford, East Croydon and Monument Amazon Fresh stores, where you must redeem it using the in-store checkout.
