Twenty years ago, Amazon first came to the UK, and since then we have worked hard to raise the bar of the customer experience by building innovations that excite and delight people across the country. In fact, since 2010, we’ve invested £9.3 billion in our UK operations - and today we revealed plans to grow our UK workforce even further, creating over 2,500 jobs this year.
That means by the end of the year we’ll have 27,500 people working at Amazon around the country – from our UK head office which opened last year, through to our UK development centres, AWS, fulfilment centres and other operational sites.
All our permanent employees receive competitive pay and stock grants that vest over the course of their careers in the business. At all levels, employees are also offered a comprehensive benefits package, including private medical insurance from day one, life assurance, income protection, an employee discount and a company pension plan.
So whether you are a recent graduate, a budding apprentice or a veteran in your field, check out our jobs page for opportunities at Amazon and see why we were named this year as one of the top UK companies for both attracting and retaining talent, according to LinkedIn’s 2018 Top Attractors list.
