Giving children a healthier start to the day
We are driven by the belief that no family should have to make trade-offs to meet basic human needs. Through partnerships with charities such as Magic Breakfast and In Kind Direct, we seek to eliminate the impossible choices between food and rent, healthcare or school supplies, and partner with organisations who share our commitment.
Community donations are one of a number of ways in which Amazon is supporting communities during COVID-19. Here’s a snapshot of the charitable causes we’re proud to support.
Thanks to an expanded partnership between Magic Breakfast and Amazon, approximately 1.4m healthy breakfasts have been delivered around the UK.
Sending a message of encouragement to children suffering from cancer: in September, as a part of the Amazon Goes Gold initiative, FC associates took part in a creative video competition. The winning site, BHX4, will donate £40,000 to the European Society for Paediatric Oncology (SIOPE).
Huddersfield-based community organisation Conscious Youth is set to benefit from a new donation and partnership with Amazon’s affinity group for black employees.
This September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, #AmazonGoesGold around the world with a series of events to raise awareness and funds for charity partners.
