A dynamic, female-led documentary, The London Railway Murders tells the story of two childhood friends who grew into killers and the fierce group of women – police and victims – whose determination and resilience finally caged a monster.
In 1998, ten years after a murderer and rapist dubbed the ‘Railway Killer’ was sent to prison, a spate of eerily similar attacks led police to question whether they had a copycat on their hands – or if the real attacker was still at large. Combining new and dramatic first-person testimony with emotionally powerful archive, The London Railway Murders is ultimately a story of comeuppance, told by the women who would stop at nothing to see justice served.
