# Amazon UK is hiring for more than 15,000 seasonal jobs for the festive season

*Pay for these operations roles starts at a minimum of £14.30 per hour, rising to £15.30 per hour depending on location.*

Amazon today announced it is hiring for more than 15,000 seasonal positions across its UK network of receive centres, fulfilment centres, sortation centres, and delivery stations for the festive season.

Amazon’s [minimum starting pay](https://www.aboutamazon.co.uk/news/company-news/amazon-minimum-salary-operations-employees-2025) has risen by 80p per hour in the past year and by 43% since 2022, bringing the minimum starting wage up to £29,744 a year. 

Amazon continues to invest in state-of-the-art workplaces with advanced processes and systems designed to ensure the wellbeing and safety of all employees.
