In this romantic comedy, Bea (Sydney Sweeney) and Ben (Glen Powell) seem like the perfect couple at first glance. However, after a disastrous ending to their first date, their initial attraction turns to icy detachment. Fate intervenes when they coincidentally attend a destination wedding in Australia, forcing them into an amusing dilemma. Opting for an absurd solution, they decide to pretend to be a couple. This sets the stage for a series of comic mishaps as well as poignant moments as Bea and Ben navigate their charade amidst the backdrop of a romantic wedding setting.
