The winner was then announced by judge and celebrity ambassador, author and TV personality, Lorraine Kelly.\n\nWinner Hannah Lynn commented: “I can’t quite believe I’ve won the Kindle Storyteller Award and it’s all a bit overwhelming! It’s an honour to have been chosen and winning the award has inspired me to keep writing and to enjoy it as much as possible. I’m not sure what I’ll spend the prize money on yet but I have promised my daughter I would buy her two Julia Donaldson books!”\n\nLorraine Kelly said: “The Afterlife of Walter Augustus is wonderfully well written and I thoroughly enjoyed this creative read.”\n\nTo find out more about the UK Kindle Storyteller Award, please visit [www.amazon.co.uk/storyteller](https://www.amazon.co.uk/b?ie=UTF8&node=12061299031).","publisher":{"@type":"Organization","name":"About Amazon","url":"https://www.aboutamazon.com","sameAs":["https://x.com/amazonnews","https://www.linkedin.com/company/amazon","https://www.instagram.com/amazonnews"],"logo":{"@type":"ImageObject","url":"https://assets.aboutamazon.com/bd/8f/88e7b0314cc2bd05b9de3155a0fe/amazon-news.svg"},"parentOrganization":{"@type":"Organization","name":"Amazon","url":"https://www.amazon.com","sameAs":["https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q3884","https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amazon_(company)","https://x.com/Amazon"]}}}
