The programme provides free training to help participants launch a career in technology. After a two-year beta program in the UK, AWS re/Start has now expanded globally. The AWS re/Start cohorts in London and Manchester are delivered in collaboration with Generation, The Prince’s Trust, and The Ministry of Defense.\n\nAWS re/Start is designed to support people with differing levels of experience – even those with no previous technical knowledge can apply to learn the fundamental knowledge needed to launch a career working on the AWS Cloud. \n\nThe IT fundamentals and AWS Cloud training has been developed by AWS and will be taught by AWS-certified instructors who have in-depth technical knowledge of the AWS Cloud. In addition, learners receive job-specific training on building effective troubleshooting, escalation, and task automation techniques to help them launch an entry-level cloud career. \n\nEach cohort of 25 learners, supported by professional mentors and accredited trainers, completes a 12 week training featuring scenario-based learning, hands-on labs, and coursework. In addition, AWS re/Start provides learners with resume and interview coaching to prepare for employer meetings and interviews.","publisher":{"@type":"Organization","name":"About Amazon","url":"https://www.aboutamazon.com","sameAs":["https://x.com/amazonnews","https://www.linkedin.com/company/amazon","https://www.instagram.com/amazonnews"],"logo":{"@type":"ImageObject","url":"https://assets.aboutamazon.com/bd/8f/88e7b0314cc2bd05b9de3155a0fe/amazon-news.svg"},"parentOrganization":{"@type":"Organization","name":"Amazon","url":"https://www.amazon.com","sameAs":["https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q3884","https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amazon_(company)","https://x.com/Amazon"]}}}
